The 2011 Cadillac SRX vehicles have been recalled. The vehicles fail to conform to the requirements of the federal motor vehicle safety standard No. 208, “occupant crash protection.” Air bags are programmed to turn off on the right side roof-rail air bag if the passenger sensing system determines that the right front passenger seat is unoccupied. The right rear occupant may not be protected. Dealers will reprogram the sensing and diagnostic module free of charge. Call Cadillac at 866-982-2339.
