Bob Howell Retires From WSFA-TV

Bob Howell left the television news business when he retired last month from WSFA-TV in Montgomery. Bob worked his way up through the ranks to News Anchor at the station, after starting as a reporter in 1976. In my opinion, Bob was one of the very best in the business. It was obvious that he enjoyed his work very much. Bob was not only well-informed, but he had the ability to convey an important and oftentimes complex news story in understandable terms. He enjoyed the reputation over the years of being fair in his reporting. Bob Howell will be very hard to replace. I wish him the very best in whatever he decides to do in the future.
