Just replaced drivers window regulator with a price tag of $256.00. I have a 2005 F150 and this is the 3rd regulator of 5 windows that have been replaced. I was lucky that the 1st two were covered under warranty. I have recently learned this is an on going problem for this year and model. I have been a Ford owner since my first vehicle but am looking into other makes and models. I realize that all manufacturers have issues and really thought Ford would step up to the plate and back their product and workmanship. Too bad they haven't!

I installed a Whirlpool dishwasher a few months ago. Which models are having the control panel fire hazard issue?? This information should be published for consumers. If I have a model that has a fire promoting control panel, who should I call to have a repairman come out and replace the control panel free of charge??

Your article states "The OCC’s findings also could have repercussions for any other financial institutions suspected of improper debt-collection practices."

Do you have a link to the OCC findings? Do you have an OCC document reference or cite? If so, please send it to me. I have not been able to locate anything from OCC on this issue.

This is a serious cause of concern. Usually presence of these chemicals originate from the use of polymer and other binding agents for coagulation process and the engineers operating the plant are supposed to be aware of this contributing factor.

Quite a number of times, I've indicated to my supplier to be vigilant and take extra precaution on this issue and I strictly indicate to them what I want in the first place. Hopefully this is applied everywhere.

I had a hip replacement 6 years ago and 1 year later I had to undergo surgery and they inserted 2 screws. I have had buttock pain and lower back pain ever since and it has ruined my life. I have recently had a ultrasound and finr that 1 screw is protruding by about 8 mms.but I am told this is normal. Is it possible that the screws could be touching the sciatic nerve and causing all my pain?

The trailor may of been loaded wrong and that's a valid point or the driver was speeding which caused the accident....Than UHAUL clearly knows about these issues and is still 100 percent at fault there are way too many accidents involving uhaul for this to still happen! If the average person can't load it properly than the average person shouldn't be aloud to load the vehicle!!! A special liscense should be required or uhaul should hire loaders! But no they will send a 23 year old woman across the country saying stay below 50 and put the heavy stuff in the back!!! Are you kidding me!!! Also if Uhaul knows you increase your risk of accident if traveling over 50mph than some sort of safety device should be put on them to restrict them from going over the recommended speed. They are endangering everyone not just the driver who may of been speeding or the driver who loaded there trailor wrong!! Does everyone just want to assume the uhaul headed straight towards them was loaded correctly and hope they arent speeding. Or should we all just keep taking the risk of a horrible head on collision that could have been prevented!!!!

Well apparently Gordon Has never had both of his parents trapped inside a burning vehicle with his 6year old daughter was getting burned and unable to move because both of her legs were broken! thankfully someone heard her screams for help and was brave enough to pull her from the burning vehicle! Uhaul is 100% at fault for the accident! They werent ambulance chasers...It was life-flight!! Also just to let you know the family of the victims contacted them!! So yes gordon you have it all wrong!! There are so many laws in place to keep people safe...from people at work to driving to the medicines and food we take! Most of these were established ffrom someone being sued because people were getting hurt!! Some of the Uhauls are UNSAFE and need to be pulled off the market and that's the bottom line!! Also, When your load weighs more than your vehicle even if you stay at 50 mph or under...when your going down a steep hill how easily is it to brake and maintain that speed if the load your carring is pretty much pushing you at this point!

I was wondering when are we actually going to receive our checks. First they were saying sometime in June or the end of June 2012. Now they are saying by the Fall 2012. Some of us can not wait that long. We are needing our money, and we need it now. Who can we contact about this?

Just quit as Store Manager. Something needs to be done. People leave good jobs to be a "Store Manager" only to find out you are the lowest paid employee in the store by the hour. The Atlas scheduling program gives the store 233 hours to complete the store tasks. I was scheduled myself for 55 hr. and that left 178 hr. for my team. I was only budgeted 154 hours and I was expected to make up the 20+ hrs myself.

I came into the store in October 2011 from another job with only four days training and took the basket count from $6.50 to most weeks $8.00 and when I brought this to my Area manager's attention I was told I "didn't get it".
My District Manager was holding me responsible for all of 2011. He was also not in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures Manual with the Open Door Policy. He was constantly working behind my back with a member of my team to dig up dirt on me.

In summary Dollar General expects the Store Manager to work 70 to 80 hours per week and does not promote working as a team.

Wow, I just had the same thing happen to me as all the rest. I got into trouble with my mortgage and started the process for applying for a modification. I work swing shift and so did my 'home preservation specialist" and I can't have my cell phone on the job. I explained all of this to my "specialist' and would return calls when she'd leave a message. I faxed documents. I mailed documents overnight. I complied with every request; in the mean time, they had to start foreclosure proceedings. I was promised that as long as the mod review was underway, they would delay the sale of my home.

I knew something was wrong in mid-March when I missed a call from my "specialist". I tried calling back and their automated system told me no one was available and disconnected me. After a couple of weeks of nothing from Wells-Fargo, I finally got the notice of sale on Mar 20, with a sale date of Apr 19. The notice of sale said that the beneficiary of the deed of trust was Wells-Fargo Bank, NA. I got nervous and didn't want to lose my house, couldn't talk to a human at Wells-Fargo, so I filed chapt. 13. earlier this month.

I got a letter from my home preservation specialist saying my mod had been declined (after three months) because the investor declined it because I had too many modifications (I haven't had one!). I received this letter one day before the scheduled sale date of my house. Had I not filed the Chapt. 13, I wouldn't have known any of this until less than 24 hours before the scheduled sale of my house

Today I called Wells Fargo to schedule my house payment for May because they have to take them because I filed the Chapt. 13. Their automated system wouldn't give me an option to make a payment by phone and their recording told me my post-petition payment of $0 dollars was due May 1. I finally got through to a human being and scheduled the payment by phone and have the confirmation number just in case.

It seems like they've been playing games with me from the start. Wouldn't the first thing to do is to check with the investor to see if I can modify my loan before dragging me through this nightmare? I don't mind not getting the mod. I mind being lied to and jerked around and having the bank play games with me.

I always liked Wells Fargo, but Im sure not happy with them now.

I have a 2010 HHR. Overall I find the car enjoyable and affordable to drive. I have been reading about what to do to make your car "turn off". Which mine would not do last night. I finally, in looking for the D&*& battery, found the fuse box where I looked for the first abreviation that involved "ignition", removed that fuse, wa la. Could have saved myself some time on the net. Anyway, I have also had the stuck in "Park" issue that cost. I am hoping not a sign of things to come (just over 50,000 miles), as overall I find it okay (by the way my first Chevy).....

There are a lot of women in California that are having the same problems, but we are told that we cannot sue the drug company, because of the laws. The drug company has the law on their side.
Whar can we do to resolve this problem.

My story is the same as all the others. Wells Fargo said I qualified for the modification. I made the three "trial "payments. After four months I was turned down, but I could apply again. Then they needed more paper work, again, again ,and again. Now they told me I didn't have to make payments while the modification was being processed. I am self employed and all this time business was improving and my income was getting better. Finally I had an attorney representing me and after seven months their "investors" denied the modification. Long story short; finally my house went to foreclosure and is now owned by Freddie Mac. I am now leasing the house, with the help of my attorney, I am now trying to do a buy back from Freddie Mac. I saw online where there is suppose to be a new law that allows this.

Hi. Listening to all these stories-this is so sad.! I happen to be a victim pertaining an auto loan with WF. I was up to par in car payments and then my car was repossessed-I was informed I owed $1,500 on a Saturday (one year ago) I was told over the phone (collection agency in Albany NY) @ 12.00pm if I didn't pay the $1,500 at that time my car would be repossessed. I sent in my student loan of $1,000 Oct and Nov 2010-in chunks-this is how I received my money. That $1,000 was to pay for Oct/Nov/Dec, with a balance of $160. Do not know where that money went to? It basically disappeared? Why would I give WF an additional $1,500 when I didn't owe that to WF and $1,000 of my money went missing? I am now suing WF. All I ever did was pay my monthly bill and Wells-Fargo wanted more and more and more. So, that Saturday night @ 8:00 pm my car was repossessed-for all the wrong reasons-in front of my children. My case is now being investigated through a financial bureau. I sent in all documentation and my case is now pending? I had no other choice-it is not right to take what is not yours. I did find out if your was car repossessed there is a criminal conversion law out there-if a company takes your property and you are the owner and did pay your loan off correctly, you have the right to sue them for your loss of your property? Don't know if this helps-good luck to you all!

More than likely Wells Fargo do not owe your Mortgage, I was trying to get a mod and it was declined by the investor who is in Germany. wells fargo are a bunch of lairs. I was told that I could not get a mod because I did'nt make enough money and I got a letter stating that I had too many mod already and have not had not one mod. This should against the the law.

If it isn't too late I would like to join this lawsuit also. I have been working injured since March 30th. This was an on the job injury. I was supposed to be on light duty, which was immpossible since most of the time I was in the store alone. As we were extremely short handed. The DM knew I was injured and that I had no help. I have had to close the store alone, which is against thier own policy and yet we were told that under no circumstances were we allowed to close the store early, that that was immediate termination. I have also, had to close two other stores sfter closing my own because they had no managers. I worked 91 Hours a week for months and was not duly compensated for my time, those other stores were not my resposiblity. Why should I have to do the work and not get paid for it?

Like Jeff Foxworthy said

"On the tube of Preporation X it says, "Do not take orally" . Now why do you suppose they had to put that there. They must got a letter, " I drank this whole damned tube and I still got hemorrhoids. But I can whistle real good"

And as Ron White says, "You can't fix STUPID" Time for the judge to ask, " Are you REALLY that much of a "F"__king idiot??? You go to jail for protective custody against yourself.

Have an 2004 F 150. Only 18,000 miles. 2 regulators have gone. Had 1 replaced. Other went a few weeks ago. The window just fell down. Cable is all shreded. I don't even use the window. It has benn up and down maybe 20 times in the years that I owned the truck!!! Took the panel off. Lifted the window shut. Put a block of wood under the windo and secured with 2 sheet metal screws. Not going to pay another $600 fror parts and labor. Ford won't recall because it would be 4 regulators on each 4 door F150. Too expensive and bad publicity for their biggest seller.

My name is Cheryl Greer-Davis and I lived in Ujima Village when they first open their doors. My lungs collapsed in 1974, because of the toxins that were consumed in the drinking water and what the apartment complex was build on. I was only 20 years old, and I never drank nor smoked. I was in great health. I exercised, and kept a balanced diet. I am planning on getting my medical records from the two hospitals. I was hospitalized from Monday until Saturday. They had to drain my lungs. The entire right lung and a portion of the left lung. Please contact me and let me know how to proceed with joining the lawsuit.

My sister-in-law was on lexipro for five days for anxiety. She would go into a strange "zombie like state" and then violently killed herself. There is no doubt it was the lexipro. The suicide was spontaneous and violent and happened just after a few days on this drug. It just happened April 11, 2012 and because the drug company put a label that said suicidal thoughts could occur we won't have a case against them. This is crazy.

For those who are serious about improving American democracy, there is only one answer – do something about it. Hoping for legislation that will offset the Supreme Court United decision is not realistic. Also, outside groups trying to influence elections was perfected by labor unions and liberals like George Soros for many years against Republicans.

I asked Jon Meacham last month (executive editor and executive vice president at Random House, former editor of Newsweek and a Pulitzer Prize winning best-selling author), what would happened if 100 civic minded individuals put up $1 million each to just inform and organize voters on the issues in 5 Presidential swing states that have toss up Senate races. He said it would change politics in America for the good, the $100 million “Super PAC” can change history.

The answer to improve democracy is more information not less. Do something about it, don’t just talk.

They say in the market report on CBS News that the recent awful jobs report has sent down the rates. What is your take on this? Could a bad economy be good news for the price of borrowing? I would be really thankful if you could explain it for me because I am struggling with debt problems on a daily basis.

Also I believe we should really be informed of the crocked loan sharks that is a problem for people everywhere. The situation is like this because a lot of misfortunate individuals only got access to high interest credit. This is a big problem in Thailand where workers many times are in the grips of gray market loan sharks which many times end with a tragedy. One solution would be to have the big banks to provide loan to these people with the backing of a state bank. Have you some thoughts on that proposal?

Thank you

Sorry, but I thought there is another issue with this company that you may be interested in and that is the hourly mangers being made to work off the clock. They tell you that you can't work off the clock, yet you are there alone for sometimes 10 hours a day. If you try to take lunch you will be called to the register to do returns or to provide customer service in some manner. This is constant. There is no way to take your lunch and not be called for something. It's ridiculous to try to clock in and out for every issue, so you just do it and interrupt your lunch or not getting any at all. I was written up for not taking my lunch. It was impossible to do so and I refused to continue to work off the clock. I told them to watch the cameras and they could see that I was at the registers or helping customers the entire time but they wouldn't listen. I know this issue is with every hourly manager in this company and needs to be addressed. Please Help!!!

I also am a key-holder ( ASM) for Dollar General. I realize that your case revolves around salaried managers and overtime pay but I see a lot of other managers and employees posting about other issues with this company. If you refer to a website called Rip-Off Report, you will see even more issues with this company. I recently had to take medical leave with this company due to injuries. Risk Management said that I had to either take medical leave or be able to work at full capacity, that there is no light duty. That's not true. It states in our employee handbook that if you have a doctor's note you can be placed on light duty. Now, I am without a paycheck. I'm quite sure they will deny my workman's comp. , they always do. This company does not provide enough hours to do the job that you are required to do. All of the back-breaking work falls upon management (especially assistants because SM's make the schedule and usually make sure that they don't touch the truck) This company uses you up until you are physically or mentally not able to perform and then casts you aside like so much trash. Injuries are inevitable because you have so much to do and so much freight to put out that the average person is bound to end up hurting themselves. I have seen it time and time again. This being said I know of a group of people that are looking for someone to take up their cause and make this company do right by their employees. If you cannot or will not do you know of attorneys that will:? Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you and passing this information along.

We ran into the exact same issues Lisa L. states in her post. We've been going around in circles for months for a loan mod (lower income, we are still working, just make less $$), submitted MORE paperwork than asked for over 3x. We were told not to make payments. We were then told we could not make partial payments. Received a letter stating we were in active foreclosure - I call and am told I didn't submit all the "required" pages of documentation. I ask them to check again, and the WF rep says "Oh look, we do have it. Well, I'll put you back as active in the modification process, then."

So, basically due to their incompetence we now have an active foreclosure pending on our house. The rep seemed embarrassed at their error but there was "nothing she could do" to remove the home from active foreclosure once it had been placed with the attorney. We call daily only to be told an underwriter is "reviewing" the situation and "they can just postpone the foreclosure if needed". Oh, great, that really eases our minds, knowing that in the next month we could either be out on the street or Wells can "postpone" the sale.

This bank is completely incompetent. They are dealing with peoples' homes and they have been disorganized at every step. Please, do NOT do business with this bank. Use Google Voice to deal with them and RECORD phone calls.

I have a 2004 4 door F-150 Lariat. The drivers side front window regulator failed about 2 years ago and was replaced at a shop. In the last 3 month, all three of the others have failed. All while driving the truck and the window simply falls into the door. The cables are attached to plastic that cracks and the cable releases, if the switch if then depressed, the cable will break the pulley that is attached to the motor. Replacement parts are not available, only the entire regulator assembly and motor. What should be a 50 cent part is now $172 from the dealer.

My husband received the W-4 because he worked at the North Little Rock plant in Arkansas and qualified for the settlement. When we contacted a live person-after we mailed the form back on March of this year- we were told that the payments are scheduled to be sent out starting in June of this year. They said there will be 2 checks in the packet sent out. The first check is for the overtime wages and taxes will be taken out; hence the w-4. The second check is for damages and is not subject to taxes.

They said there will be 2 checks in the packet sent out. The first check is for the overtime wages and taxes will be taken out; hence the w-4. The second check is for damages and is not subject to taxes.

Here is a letter I sent to the former Ohio Attorney General in 2009.The last paragraph is a recent update.Sorry, it is rather long but hopefully a warning and foresight for those who have not yet experienced Wells Fargo' deceptive fraudulent practice:

Attorney General Richard Cordray,
On Aug 27/2009,I contacted Wells Fargo in hope to refinance, unfortunally I was told by the agent" Lyn" that after quick online search,we didn't qualify for refinancing due to a drop of home value by $35,000.00, and time of ownership 3.5 years. I explained that We, had suffered a considerable loss of income
The cause of financial hardship was due to cut in my husband's Hrs beginning June 2008,as well as sporadic lay-offs as of Feb 2009 and through out the year. Forced to tap in to our now depleted savings, my husband and I filed for motgage modification on Sept 2/2009,afetr sending Wells Fargo all required documentions,we waited....In Oct 2009 my husband sufferd a heart attack and underwent open heart surgery, missed 3 months of work but continued to make timely payments to WF and was current 'till December 09, when I missed the very first payment.I did however make the payment for December on Jan 28 2010 and Jan payment on Feb 8/2010. Mean time Wells fargo Still had not worked out a modification, I called them every Friday, time after time I was told to resend financial documentation; something I did every first of the month for 13 months,in addition they placed my Feb payment into a suspended account rather than credit it which would have brought us current. I called them to request explanation as to why they're not posting the payment and was told that for as long as we are working towards a modification payments will not post and will continue to be reported as late. I'm at a loss and have no resources to find out about my rights if any. I do have all documention and corrispondence which I will be happy to furnish upon request.Respectfuly [<em>Names removed to protect privacy</em>]."

Within 2 months from this letter and while still trying to work things out with Wells Fargo I was diagnosed with breast cancer two surgeries and seven weeks of radiation( all of these events were reported to WF) We had still to receive a modification until finally end of April 2010 We received offer of 3 reduced monthly payments "make timely payments from May 1st till July first and would receive permanent modification so long as all payments including balance from reduction would be paid in full by August first...
I immediately contacted Wells Fargo and told the agent (I have their names and ID) that while we were happy to hear of their decision, my husband and I couldn't sign the agreement as there would be no way for us to come up with over $4,000 at once or we wound't have been in that position to begin with...the reply was"Don't worry, that balloon payment is not expected,so long as you make all mod payments on time and send a little more if possible, the rest would be rolled over into a new loan. End of story all payments were made and more, our home sold at auction on August 3 2011 for $91.256. We purchased it for $168,000. Wells Fargo also collected $40,000+ from the VA who, had backed our loan my husband' benefits vanished so did all our savings.

Sincerely

As a owner of a small trucking company we watch every penny that we spend. Fuel is our biggest expense in trucking. We feel we don't just feel the pain of it from the pumps but also feel it
as a trucker and consumer. It sometimes make us wonder why we continue in this business
since we have no help from the government on this raising cost to us. And our shippers are re-
fusing to pay the additional cost to transport there freight to the consumers. Some how we are
left eatting the cost and still balance our budget. When are they going to step up to the plate and start balancing their books without our help to get it done!! We all have a part in this play to make this world go around. Our government and the oil companies are very big players in how the normal consumer function these days. And they have let us down big time. So TRUST in really not in my dictionary any more. I will start believing again when our government put OUR people back into
job, roofs over their heads and food on the table. WE need to take care of HOME first and stop
sending our money, oil, food and our people overseas to a war that will never be won... Then this
country will start believing again in this country.

I have just learned about the suit against the makers of Cipro. Summer of 2009 I was diagnosed with torn tendons in my left foot with nerve damage. Dr. Joe Sherrill repaired the tendon that was torn apart. Now I am experiencing pain in my right foot which feels like tendon trouble to me. I have been given three steroid injections in my right foot which hasn't helped.

I have taken Cipro many time for UTIS. I also have auto immune hepatitis which was diagnosed in 1998 which I believe is cause by me taking antibiotics for sinusitis/UTIS.

I would appreciate your help if this is a cause for my feet damage. I have had to stop work due to my ambulation impairment.

I have 2004 F150 Crew Cab and went out this morning to find the rear passenger door window all the way down. Thinking that I left it down I tried to raise it. Now I have experienced the 3rd regulator failure. Both rear doors and the driver door windows. I had the drivers door regulator replaced (not at the expensive Ford service center) but will leave the rear door broke. My remedy today was to push the window all the way up and place a small spiral hose clamp around one of the vertical members locking it in place. I also did not reconnect the regulator plug to the switch. Have owned many Fords and now own 3, this F150, a 03 Crown Vic (no longer made) and a 1916 model. Amazing how well Henry build the Model t and truly amazing that Ford cannot make a reliable vehicle today. Shame on Ford for treating its customers this way. Move over Ford, there will be a Check or Dodge in my future.

Employees who do not want to come in and work there shifts like scheduled. and yet keep there jobs. we have had employees screaming and cussing in front of customers and nothing was done about it.
I too have been caught up in the nightmare of getting a loan modification through WF for the past year. The best was that they removed me from the modification program because they claimed I was missing some paperwork. Not only did I submit all my paperwork, I did it THREE times. When I called my preservation specialist to find out why I was removed, she stated that the YTD income was missing from my pay stub. I told Audrey to go check my paystub because it was most certainly there. Sure enough she comes back to me and says, "Oh yeah, it is there." WTH??? And I'm dealing with a bank?? How does WF claim that my YTD income was missing from my paystub and then remove me from the program???

Everytime I call, it's the same old run around. I submitted all my paperwork AGAIN (certified mail this time) only to be sent another package with the same exact paperwork to be filled out. If they had actually looked at my file, they would have seen that all that information is there and filled out. I truly believe they aren't looking at the files. I have left messages for the manager but never received a call back.....what a surprise. This whole thing is a big joke.

Can a settlement of this nature protect the unforseen toll on the health of those subjected to the chemical make up of Chinese Drywall. The CDW class has by and large has not just the remediation of homes to contend with, but also the likely hood of dramatic and unforseen health from exposuer to gas and particulite in these enclosed structures. To second guess the health consequeces from this type of exposuer will undoubtably leave many abandoned in health issues strickly caused by chinese drywall. As a proposed settlement there is nothing that offers assurance for occupants nor the children who at this stage of their lives are at the biggest risk. Further it might be wise for children of affected homes to have their own legal representation for currently the proposed settlement only settles the remediation of homes and bypasses the health consequences for those many years down the road. Proper legal counsel for the children affected by expouser should be a top priority.

Just dealt with this SAME issue on 2009 Chevy/GM HHR with less than 17k miles. Key was stuck in ignition w/car running. Tried Fixes as per Onstar (Overall NO HELP! --they can apparently turn your ignition "on" remotely, yet can not turn it "off" remotely):

OPTION A:
1) While pressing down Brake pedal
2) Shift vehicle into reverse
3) Shift vehicle into park
4) Attempt to remove key - NO HELP
---
OPTION B:
1) While pressing down Brake pedal
2) Disengage Steering Column Adjustment Lever
3) "Move Steering Wheel Up AND Down AND Side to Side (Good Luck doing this if you are alone in the car, because you need AT LEAST 3-4 hands: 1-for turning/jiggling the key in the ignition, 1-for lifting the Steering Wheel, 1-for moving the Steering wheel side-to-side)
** Eventually "we" were able to jiggle the key to release, but it was only after we removed the steering column cover for apparently no reason as there IS NOT "Button" to depress as we were instructed in Option C, and after we disconnected the battery cables, even with the key removed and the battery cables disconnected, the vehicle motor is still running!!--THIS IS MORONIC!!)
-----
Option C:
Per Onstar--
1) While vehicle is in park
2) Locate Button under the Ignition Key on bottom right side of Steering Column (Good Luck as there IS NO BUTTON! --The Imbeciles! The Owner's Manual shows a diagram on page 5-25; However for this model vehicle there IS NOT A BUTTON!!)
2) Locate the correct size "METRIC" wrench nut thing
3) Remove multiple Steering column screws to gain access to under the Steering Column Cover (learn that there are screws all around the Steering Column so you are out of luck as you can not access those screws at their existing "odd angles")
4) Remove small hole cover that comes off with removal of screw directly between your thighs and on the underside of the Steering Column
5) Search with a flashlight into small 2 inch hole looking for a stupid button that does not exist!!
6) Stick fingers into exposed small 2" hole under Steering Column (desperately "feeling" with fingers for a "Button" that does NOT exist on this model vehicle, but which is shown on page 5-25 in the Owner's manual..so Onstar Rep keeps insisting for 5 minutes exists, with the tone that you are just too stupid to find it)
---
OPTION D:
1) While vehicle is in park
2) Locate your vehicle battery --( which is located in the vehicle trunk, under the floorboard)
3) Disconnect the positive battery cable (which you need a ratchet in order to accomplish)
4) When vehicle engine does NOT turn off, disconnect the negative battery cable
5) Wait in fear of your vehicle getting broken into and stolen, and experiences lots of frustration while your vehicle engine continues to run and eat up your very expensive 3/8th's full tank of gas!!
