The candidates for President in the Republican primary battles have been putting on a most interesting show for the American people. After hearing comments from the candidates and watching the debates, it’s apparent that Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment was put on the shelf at the outset of this contest. Thus far the debates have been more like a carnival sideshow than serious issues-centered debates. One thing has become quite evident and that is no GOP candidate will ever satisfy the Tea Party bosses. Much of the Tea Party message is largely based on “hate” and most of that is aimed at President Obama.
My advice to any candidate running on the Republican ticket for president or Congress is that regardless of how hard you may try, you will never be able to satisfy the Tea Party bosses. I expect several of the GOP presidential candidates to fold their campaign tents very soon and drop out of the race. At this juncture, it appears that either The Donald or Dr. Carson will likely be the party’s nominee and will face Hillary Clinton in the general election.
