Roos Foods, a Delaware food company, has recalled 16 varieties of cheese after many were linked to a Listeria monocytogenes outbreak that led to a death in California and seven illnesses reported in Maryland. Kenton, Del.-based Roos Foods issued the recall of its Mexicana, Amigo, Santa Rosa De Lima and Anita brands, which were distributed through retail stores in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
