In a move that was nothing more than election-year politics, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill, with the voting along party lines, to repeal The Affordable Care Act. Nobody in the House, including the Speaker and others in the GOP leadership, could possibly have believed the repeal bill would ever become law. But that really didn’t matter since repeal really wasn’t what they wanted. Instead, the motivation was just to keep the issue alive.
