For those who are serious about improving American democracy, there is only one answer – do something about it. Hoping for legislation that will offset the Supreme Court United decision is not realistic. Also, outside groups trying to influence elections was perfected by labor unions and liberals like George Soros for many years against Republicans.

I asked Jon Meacham last month (executive editor and executive vice president at Random House, former editor of Newsweek and a Pulitzer Prize winning best-selling author), what would happened if 100 civic minded individuals put up $1 million each to just inform and organize voters on the issues in 5 Presidential swing states that have toss up Senate races. He said it would change politics in America for the good, the $100 million “Super PAC” can change history.

The answer to improve democracy is more information not less. Do something about it, don’t just talk.
