There will be at least three strong candidates in the race for Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court in the Republican primary. As reported previously, Chief Justice Chuck Malone will seek a full term. He will be challenged by Judge Roy Moore, a former Chief Justice, and Judge Charlie Graddick, a Circuit Judge in Mobile and a former Attorney General. This should be a most interesting race and hopefully a “clean one,” run on issues pertinent to a judicial race.
