Nicholas Pleasant has been with the firm for three months as a law clerk for Clay Barnett in the Consumer Fraud Section. In that capacity, Nicholas works on case and legislative research and assists with drafting and editing of documents for submission to courts. He graduated from Freed Hardeman University with a Bachelor’s in History with minors in Political Science and Bible. While at Freed Hardeman, Nicholas was the Vice-President of the Law Society and a student government class representative. He is currently pursuing his Juris Doctorate at Jones Law School. At Jones, Nicholas has been the Honor Court Prosecutor and Assistant Prosecutor, maintained an academic scholarship, and received a scholastic achievement award in Criminal Procedure: Investigation.
Nicholas, who is married to Jennifer, enjoys studying law review articles, jurisprudence theories, and correspondence and articles from Revolutionary-era American history. He also enjoys just spending time with his wife. They both attend the Dalraida Church of Christ in Montgomery. Nicholas is a very good addition to our firm and we are blessed to have him with us.
