Blakeley Waruszewski currently works as a Staff Assistant to Russ Abney, a lawyer in our Mass Torts Section. Blakeley manages articles pertaining to studies on hormone replacement therapy, along with conducting general research on hormone replacement therapy. He also helps out by working with Russ in getting ready for the tremendous number of depositions being taken. Blakeley says it’s truly a pleasure to work with Russ and his litigation team.
Blakeley was originally hired through a temp agency in January to work in new client calls on DePuy hip replacement devices. He was then hired full time in July. Blakeley attended the University of Montevallo on an athletic/academic scholarship in 2009 and was studying biochemistry. Blakeley was a cheerleader at Montevallo and holds many titles for competing as an all-star cheerleader on both the state and national levels. Blakeley has not completed his degree, but plans to do so in the near future.
Blakeley, who enjoys cooking and baking, previously worked at a bakery in Birmingham. He also served as an intern for a photographer in Prattville during his years in high school, branching out to his own work with senior portraits, weddings, and professional stock photos. He also enjoys painting. Blakeley is a very good and dedicated employee and we are fortunate to have him with us.
