Audi is recalling about 920 of its high-performance R8 Spyders from the 2011-12 model years because of a fire hazard. Audi said that a fuel line could rub against a heat shield, which “could lead to a small fuel leak.” The automaker attributed the condition “to production tolerances.” Audi told NHTSA that it first learned of the problem in June after a customer complained of smelling gasoline.
