“Camp Nod” lantern-styled nightlights have been recalled due to a risk of shock and fire. About 9,700 lantern-style nightlights were imported from China by The Land of Nod of Northbrook, Ill., and sold at Land of Nod stores in Washington and Illinois from September 2004 through last October for about $35. The firm says it has received 16 reports of the lamps short circuiting. Consumers were advised to stop using the nightlights and return them to Land of Nod to receive credit for the purchase. Consumers can call 800-933-9904 for information.
