Jason Evans Associates, LLC, of Hewlett, N.Y., has recalled about 18,300 boys fleece & flannel zip hooded sweatshirts with drawstrings. The hooded zip sweatshirts have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard to children. The recall covers Boys Fleece, Printed Fleece and Flannel Zip Hooded Sweatshirts with labels in the neck seam with the brand name Bay Trading and RN# 30842, in sizes 4 – 18. They were sold at Burlington Coat Factory from September 2006 through October 2009 for about $12 to $20. Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard or return the garment to either the place of purchase or to Jason Evans for a full refund.
