A family injured in a head-on car crash in Tuckerton, New Jersey, has been awarded $17.5 million by an Ocean County jury. In August 2006, Jennifer Roden was driving to a car dealership with her husband and their three young children when another car crossed over the center line and struck their vehicle. All three children were hurt. One of the children suffered a spinal injury that left her with permanent leg paralysis. The other driver, Corey Clifford, who had just left work, was on his way home when the crash occurred. The Defendant admitted fault and the case was tried solely on damages. Norman M. Hobbie, a lawyer from Eatontown, New Jersey, represented the family and did a very good job.
