Campaign Finance Reform - Written by Jere Beasley on Thursday, September 18, 2008 9:20 - 0 Comments
Nothing to report
There won’t be anything of significance to report on campaign finance reform at the national or local levels for the rest of this year. Hopefully, after the elections are over, the new President and Congress can start working on a total reform of our campaign financing laws on the federal level. Maybe after the federal mess is cleaned up, the states will follow suit in 2009. The American people will not tolerate any further refusal to act in this area of concern. Anybody who is elected this year should get a test on this issue very early next year.
