Favorite Bible verse
My friend Lindora Snyder, a former school teacher who is a brilliant historian, sent in her favorite Bible verse this month. Lindora said she initially wanted to include the entire eighth chapter of Romans, which she says is inspiring and a source of great comfort during difficult times, but decided not to. However, she suggests we read this entire chapter. Lindora said that verses 26-28 have had a special meaning in her life, but that she puts special emphasis on one particular verse that has helped her deal with life’s ups and downs:
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28
Lindora has been a real inspiration to her many friends over the years. She is a dedicated Christian lady who “talks-the-talk,” but who also most definitely “walks-the-walk” on a daily basis. She is also one of the biggest Auburn football fans on this planet!
