The AWP Lawsuit in Alabama will be Tried Next Year

The State of Alabama will soon have its day in court in the AWP litigation against some of the pharmaceutical companies that engaged in fraudulent conduct in their dealings with the State’s Medicaid program. Our case is set for February 11, 2008, and will be tried in Montgomery County Circuit Court. This will be the first trial against the initial set of the seventy-three defendants sued in Alabama to take place. Dee Miles, Clint Carter, Scarlette Tuley, Clay Barnett and I will be involved in this trial, along with Roger Bates, Caine O’Rear, Clay Rankin, Windy Bitzer and Tracy Davis from the Mobile firm of Hand Arendall. We all look forward to the challenge and hope to get a good result for Alabama taxpayers.

It’s Hand Arendall LLC, there’s no comma between Hand and Arendall
